📍**Khust Hostel :: April 2022**
"Хуст Хостел" для біженців відкрили на Закарпатті, а команда "Перемеблі" допомогла його вмеблювати
During 3 weeks of work, our team created 3 main public spaces for the hostel: the meeting area, the coworking, the playroom, and a couple of others on top of that.
We created more than 10 working prototypes of furniture, which gradually filled up the space. After testing and getting feedback from the hostel’s team and its tenants, the prototypes shaped the basic typology of elements and went into circulation.
Meeting areaThe Meeting area is a place where tenants can rest after the road, establish new contacts, play board games and observe the central street of Khust from the balcony.
CoworkingThe second space is coworking. This space of Khust Hostel can easily be transformed from a temporary office and meeting room into cozy cinema or space for workshops and creative meetings.
During the work, we were constantly using this space for interviewing the first tenants to get to know their needs. So the project of working stations (high, standard, and coffee tables) was in high priority for us. On tenants’ request it was implemented in the first place.
